How To Make Fizzy Lemonade

You will need these ingredients
  • A clean 2 litre bottle with a lid
  • Three lemons per bottle
  • A cup of sugar
  • A pouring jug
Cut the lemons in half and squeeze the lemon in to the bottle and then pour the mixture in to the bottle and add some cold water until the bottle is almost full and leave about 5 centimetres room at the top.

now add yeast - about quarter of a teaspoonwill do. This is what makes the mixture fizzy. Leave it at least four days. A place that is not to hot but not to cold is best.
While you are wating, think of a brand name for your lemonade ,and try to make it fancy label.

you can tell if it is fizzy by squeezing the bottle. It is ready if it feels quite hard. Before you open it, put in the fridge for a few hours.

It really works

My Term Three Goals

One of my goals I think should be:  Get in work done on time.
Other ones should be:  Improve in my reading skills.
Be a bit neater in my writing.
Work really hard during school and at home.
Get a bit better at basic facts.
I will listen carefully and get everything organised.
I'll try to give stuff in on time to the teacher on time.

Totaranui

Every year our family goes to Totaranui with all our cousins. Every year I bring my bike to Totaranui. We camp up at house. In most of the cabins there are two bunks. I like to be at the top. Last year I was allowed to bring two friends to come with us to Totaranui so I took Joe.P and Callum. Joe.P brought his bike but Callum didn't bring his so I had to use my big cousin's bike but it was a bit too big so we swapped bikes. Once when we were walking down to see some glow worms we saw four Australians up in a tree but then my sister said "No that's a possum". The third Australian we saw I ran up to and him and then he was like "I'm a grizzly bear" and then some of us started laughing. A couple of days later we had a go on our cousins biscuit. I wanted it to be bumpy. Every day we go down to the mud flats. That's what we do at Totaranui - and a lot more stuff!

Our dog Charlie

We have a dog called Charlie. He looks a bit like a giant sheep. He is a Standard Poodle crossed with a Retriever. He is quite big now and is just over 1 year old. Every day I have to take him for a walk. Some people ask "What type of dog is he?"and others say "It looks like he's taking you for a walk!" because he tugs so much. A couple of times he just about got me killed by running out on to the road with me holding on. When he was young he was really small and cute, not that he isn't anymore.

Skiing

Most years our family goes skiing. The first place I went skiing was in Canada. The ski field was called Cypress Bowl. I have only been to Cypress Bowl once.  In New Zealand I have been skiing at Tekapo (Round Hill) and at Rainbow. At Round Hill I like whizzing down the shirt front and going up on to the rough down the back track. At Round  Hill they have put in a nut-cracker. At the top it is super steep as it is a black run.
